The 103 year-old historic Hendersonville Depot
Apple Valley Model Railroad Club (AVMRC) is located in the over 100 year-old historic Hendersonville Depot at the corner of 7th Ave. and Maple Street. This
50+ member club has constructed a fully scenicked HO model railroad representing Hendersonville and Western North Carolina. What a great place to bring your out of town friends or grand children to!
The club is open to the public every Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The
Southern Railway caboose is also open to the public. Admission is free.

Depot renovations being celebrated HENDERSONVILLE — The Historic Seventh Avenue Business District received a $75,000 grant to renovate of the Hendersonville Train Depot. Working with the Apple Country Model Railroad Club and the city of Hendersonville, renovations began in the summer and are now complete, with the total cost of the project being $110,000. |
